Internships in companies are a key element in your training. Gaining experience after what you have learned in your degree is the best way to enter the labor market. There are two types of internships, curricular (included in your curriculum) and extracurricular (those you can do voluntarily).

To carry out curricular internships in companies, you will need to have 50% of the credits approved and enroll the subject before starting your internship. These practices are monitored by the company and the internship teacher, as well as the realization of intermediate and final reports for evaluation.

If you want to improve your work experience before finishing your university education, you can do extracurricular internships. You can do them in any course but we remind you that the practices are a training complement to your studies; Therefore, the more knowledge you have acquired throughout the career, the more you will get out of the internship experience.

This programme is particularly suited to graduates from the field of Social Sciences, especially those related to Education, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Psychology, and Business Administration and Management.

Although graduates from any academic background may apply, regardless of their original field of study, this Master’s degree is specifically designed to develop specialists from the aforementioned areas, enhancing their knowledge and skills in the management and financial administration of educational institutions and organisations within the education sector.

The Master’s is particularly aimed at applicants with the following profile:

• Graduates in Early Childhood Education
• Graduates in Primary Education
• Teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education, Sixth Form and Vocational Education and Training
• Graduates in Pedagogy
• Graduates in Psychology
• Graduates in Educational Psychology (Psychopedagogy)
• Graduates in Sociology
• Graduates in Business Administration and Management
• Bachelor’s degree holders with at least one year of accredited professional experience in the education sector, performing equivalent duties within the same field of knowledge
• Other degrees awarded by recognised higher education institutions that grant access to postgraduate studies in the issuing country and are related to the field of this programme

Access to this Master’s degree is regulated in accordance with Article 18 of Royal Decree 822/2021, which establishes the basic framework governing access and admission procedures to official university Master’s programmes in Spain.

Admission Criteria

In accordance with Articles 18.1 and 18.2 of Royal Decree 822/2021 of 28 September, which regulates the organisation of official university education and quality assurance procedures, applicants must meet one of the following legal requirements:

• Hold an official Spanish Bachelor’s degree (Grado) or equivalent qualification, or another official Master’s degree, or a qualification of the same level as a Spanish Bachelor’s or Master’s degree issued by a university or higher education institution within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) that grants access to Master’s studies in the issuing country. (Art. 18.1).
• Hold a qualification issued by an education system outside the EHEA, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, without the need for formal recognition (homologation), provided that the university verifies the level of training and confirms that the qualification grants access to postgraduate university studies in the issuing country. Access through this route does not imply official recognition of the prior qualification for any purpose other than admission to this Master’s programme. (Art. 18.2).
• For admission to the programme, students whose first language is not English and who enrol on the English-taught pathway must demonstrate an English language proficiency level equivalent to at least B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), through an officially recognised certification.
