More than 2,000 students have taken part in this project throughout the 2021/22 academic year, achieving high levels of satisfaction. School of Life offers extra-curricular training to equip students with vital skills.
The project School of Life, developed by the Student Experience Unit of the Vice Chancellor of Students and University Life at the Universidad Europea, was awarded the bronze prize (e-learning category) by the International E-Learning Association (IELA), on 30 September in Vienna.
School of Life is an extracurricular training programme aimed at helping the student develop skills highly demanded by companies, using an interactive and attractive teaching format. More than 2,000 students from a range of our degree programmes were involved in the labs and workshops which took place throughout the 2021/22 academic year.
The programme is organised into four levels based on different speeds of learning: Walk, Drive, Fly, Orbit.
Each level consists of labs (interactive content in the virtual campus) and workshops (interactive sessions with an expert). Through these two methods, students cover ‘kilometres’ to move up a ranking by acquiring knowledge divided into different categories like creativity, people skills, employability, diversity and sustainability.
