What is the Centro de Formación Profesional Europeo de Madrid?
The CFPEM exists to meet the growing demand from the market and industry for professionals with a more technical profile. We offer a growing range of courses to give our students a comprehensive education, training entrepreneurial, ethically committed leaders and professionals with the skills to respond to the needs of a global world, add value to their professions and contribute to social progress.
We provide a premium learning experience to our students, with an experience-based learning methodology using simulated case studies, cutting-edge facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, agreements with major companies, personalised attention and teachers who are also active professionals in their field.
What courses are offered at the CFPEM?
At the CFPEM you can study a wide variety of vocational training programmes in fields such as health, technology, and management. All our degrees are designed to equip students with the practical and theoretical skills needed to enter the job market.
Are the qualifications offered at the CFPEM officially recognised?
At the CFPEM, we offer a broad portfolio of official higher-level technical degrees in all areas of knowledge, covering a range of professional fields including Biomedicine, Health, STEAM, Business, Education and Sports, which may be taught face-to-face, online or in blended format.
Does the CFPEM offer internships in companies?
Yes. Our experience-based academic model is closely linked to businesses and the needs of each professional sector.
The employability of our students is one of our top priorities. Our model focuses, therefore, on learning through practice in environments that simulate the real world of work. Contact with companies is key to ensuring students are as well prepared as possible to enter the job market.
Are there any grants or scholarships available for courses at the CFPEM?
Yes, our students can obtain scholarships from the Spanish Ministry of Education or from their own Autonomous Community, and the centre also offers some grants of its own.

What are the requirements to enrol at the CFPEM?
You must have completed the baccalaureate or an intermediate-level technical qualification (CFGM). And you must meet one of the following requirements:
- Hold one of the following qualifications:
- Bachiller [Non compulsory Post Secondary Education (2006 on)]
- Bachillerato LOGSE [Non compulsory Post Secondary Education (1990-2006)]
- Bachillerato BUP[MA2] [Non compulsory Post Secondary Education (pre-1990)]
- A higher-level technical degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent
- A specialist or higher technical qualification or equivalent for academic purposes
- An intermediate-level technical qualification (CFGM) or a technical qualification in the Plastic Arts and Design
- Have passed:
- A Grade C Professional Certification course
- A specific training course provided free of charge to enable students to access higher-level technical degrees in centres expressly authorised by the Education Authority
- An entrance exam. Students who pass the entrance exam to higher-level technical degrees will be able to take courses leading to said qualification in the professional fields linked to the specific part of the exam passed.
- 2nd year of any mode of the Experimental Bachillerato
- University Orientation Course (COU) or pre-university course
Can I access university studies after completing my vocational training?
Yes, our training programmes are a pathway to university studies, enabling students to continue their academic and professional training in the professional field of their choice.
Where is the CFPEM?
We have two centres in Madrid, at the Alcobendas Campus and the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus. We also offer options for online study, to meet the needs of all types of students.
