  • Jose Carlos Ferrer
    Director of the consultancy firm ¨Your Chief Sustainability Officer (YCSO)¨ with more than 20 years of international experience in sustainability, strategic partnerships and sustainable development. Professional background in international organizations, public administrations, the private sector, universities, and research institutions at both national and international levels.
    Working experience with several international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Joint Fund for the SDGs, the UNDP Millennium Development Goals Fund, the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), the International Seabed Authority, the UNDP Asia-Pacific Innovation and Development Center, the International Labour Organization (ILO), UN Women, KAICIID and the EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group). Professional background in embassies, economic and commercial offices, chambers of commerce and in the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and development Cooperation.
    Professional experience in more than 40 countries across Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania with long term professional experience in countries like India, Sudan, Turkey, Australia, USA and Spain.
    Extensive teaching experience in undergraduate, postgraduate, executive education, and continuous professional development programs, in both in-person and online formats, at national and international universities and business schools.
    Expertise in design and implementation of training content in the fields of environmental governance, sustainable leadership, and the integration of sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Antonio García Celda 
    Is a computer and telematics engineer (also Master's Degree in Systems and Services in the Information Society), as well as a manager specialized in innovation, mobility, smart cities, sustainability and climate.
    Currently and most notably, Antonio García Celda serves as the General Director of Valencia European Green Capital 2024 in the Municipality of Valencia. In this role, he leads the city’s initiative following its designation as European Green Capital, with the goal of transforming Valencia by placing sustainability at the core of its policies and the everyday lives of its citizens. His vision includes making Valencia a more human, healthy, and sustainable city, by integrating sustainable practices into daily life in much the same way technology has been adopted.
    In addition to his role in the European Green Capital initiative, García Celda is involved in academia as a researcher and adjunct professor at the University of Valencia. He belongs to the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence within the Institute of Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC).
    His work also emphasizes the importance of measuring and evaluating the impact of sustainability initiatives to make strategic, data-driven decisions. He is actively engaged in efforts to make Valencia a climate-neutral and smart city by 2030, collaborating with other Spanish “Mission Cities.” García Celda highlights the need for active participation from both citizens and businesses to achieve these ambitious goals.
    In addition to his work at the City Council and the university, Antonio García Celda is a board member of the Official College of Computer Engineers of the Valencian Community (COIICV) and the Association of Advanced Tertiary Consultancy Companies (AECTA).
  • Jose Poyatos
    Founder of POYATOS PR BUSINESS CORPORATE CONSULTING and has extensive experience in marketing, Communication and institutional relations. Throughout his career he has worked with companies from different sectors, helping them to better connect with their environment, improve their reputation and adapt to new social and environmental challenges.
    For five years he headed the Marketing Management Board of Pescanova USA, based in Miami, where he promoted the brand's presence in the North American market and developed campaigns aimed at responsible consumption and respect for the marine environment.
    In recent years he has been responsible for PR and External Relations at BigBuy, a technology company specialising in e-commerce, where she he has strengthened corporate communication in a highly digitalised environment. As a teacher, she he is motivated to share a practical and realistic vision of the role played by public relations as an engine for the transformation of the company and its corporate reputation.
  • Patricia Yagüe
    Patricia Yagüe is Live Nation’s Head of Sustainability for the EMEA region. She is responsible for developing and implementing a sustainability program across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, integrating sustainability across business operations to achieve the goals set out by Live Nation’s Environmental Sustainability Charter on climate change and resource use. She has participated in the development of the Green Nation global touring programme and the Green Series in UAE, developing industry-leading guidance and best practices to help artists adopt and scale sustainable touring practices.
    Patricia began her professional career in the fashion industry as a fashion stylist and consultant in New York City, working with cultural institutions on events that addressed sustainability in the fashion industry. These experiences led her to pursue a master’s degree in environmental economics and climate change from the London School of Economics and intern for the United Nations Department of Economics and Social Affairs in New York City, where she conducted research on the role of public institutions in the implementation of the SDGs.
    Before joining Live Nation, Patricia worked as carbon analyst and researcher for think-tanks and consultancy firms in London, conducting research on climate change law, setting up corporate and national natural capital accounts, and evaluating and monitoring the carbon performance of publicly-traded companies in the steel and pulp & paper sectors.
  • Guillem Riutord Sampol
    Guillem Riutord Sampol (1984, Palma de Mallorca) is a Spanish career diplomat, and EU official. Head of EEAS PCM.2 / Peace, Security and Defence Partnerships Division since July 2023, he started leading the EU unit for conflict prevention and mediation support in March 2022. At the EU, he first worked on regional Latin American affairs, and then on Regional Mediterranean Affairs, particularly on the Union for the Mediterranean and on relations with the League of Arab States. Between 2015 and 2018, Guillem was Deputy Head of Mission of the Spanish Embassy to Mali and Burkina Faso, based in Bamako, where he was also consul and cultural attaché. Back in the EEAS HQ in Brussels, Guillem served in the office of the Deputy Secretary General for CSDP and Crisis Response and in 2020 became Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Affairs Division.
  • Verónica Pinilla Pérez
    Verónica Pinilla Pérez is a dedicated sustainability and development professional with solid experience in project management, public policy, and international cooperation. She currently serves as Senior Project Specialist at UN Tourism, where she leads strategic initiatives in sustainable tourism policy and capacity-building in collaboration with national governments. Most recently, she has been responsible for coordinating the development of a National Sustainable Tourism Strategy for the Dominican Republic and a Sustainable Tourism Master Plan for Guatemala.
    She holds a Master’s in Cooperation and Development from the University of Pavia, awarded with a merit-based scholarship. As part of her academic training, she has worked with global companies such as AB InBev, Coca-Cola, and Unilever through the 100+ Accelerator, supporting startups and projects focused on climate action, circular economy, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
    Verónica’s background includes roles as a Project Manager and Sustainability Consultant, where she led development projects focused on community empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, and building public-private partnerships for sustainability across diverse regional contexts.
    With experience across countries and diverse sustainability initiatives, Verónica brings a multicultural and practice-oriented approach to teaching. In the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability Leadership, she leverages her fieldwork to guide and inspire future leaders in designing and implementing systemic, sustainable solutions across sectors and regions.
  • Jorge Hernández
    Jorge Hernández is a Mechanical Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the railway sector. Based in Valencia, he currently serves as Engineering Manager at Siemens Mobility Valencia, where he coordinates the engineering office and leads initiatives aimed at promoting innovation and sustainable rail transport on an international scale.
    Throughout his career, he has played a key role in large-scale railway projects across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, including ETCS Level 2 systems in Belgium, ETCS Level 1 and 2 in Turkey, and interlocking solutions in Argentina and Taiwan. His earlier roles included systems engineering positions in Spain, Chile, and Brazil. This global experience has given him a strategic perspective on the evolution of mobility and the critical role of rail and digital technologies in building sustainable transport systems worldwide.
    In addition to his technical leadership, he is actively engaged in public advocacy for rail transport and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies as drivers of sustainability. For the past four years, he has also been a lecturer at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, teaching in the Dual Master's in Rail Mobility Technology for Recent Graduates, where he emphasizes real-world problem-solving and system-level thinking aligned with the future needs of the rail industry.
