The Alumni Forest

The Alumni Forest project is an initiative that seeks to involve the Universidad Europea Alumni Community in reforestation and environmental conservation. Each of the Alumni FOREST trees is a seed that helps to make the planet greener.

The Sigma Project

SIGMA (Integrated Environmental Management System) is an initiative launched in 2002 to transmit to the University Community a work philosophy based on awareness and commitment to the environment.

This Environmental Management System made Universidad Europea the first Spanish higher education institution to be certified according to the UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004 standard.

Healthy Campus

In 2010, Universidad Europea reinforced its Healthy Campus policy with measures that promote healthy living and respect for the environment, after being the first Spanish university to certify its university campus with environmental management measures. This project is the University's commitment to contribute, through training and awareness-raising, to promoting an educational environment that reinforces positive behaviour and attitudes among the university community, making the institution a benchmark for its commitment to improving health and quality of life.

Escuela de Sostenibilidad Award for Best Final Degree Project and Master's Thesis

The Escuela de Sostenibilidad recognizes academic excellence over the last five years with an award designed to highlight the best Final Degree Projects (TFG) and Master's Theses (TFM) related to sustainability.

With a total prize fund of €3,000, this award promotes the talent of students and alumni who have demonstrated a transformative commitment to the major challenges of the 2030 Agenda.
