Sports Medicine in Women and Men: Should We Treat Them the Same?

On July 18th (from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Madrid time), the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea invites you to enjoy a unique and exclusive event: our first Masterclass on Sports Medicine.

During this event, we will have the privilege of hosting Dr. Manuel Leyes, a renowned orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist with over 25 years of experience, specialized in sports medicine, particularly in knee, shoulder, and ankle injuries, as well as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.

The masterclass will be structured as a dynamic debate between Dr. Manuel Leyes and Dr. Elena Isla, moderated by Francisco José Martín.

Throughout four thematic blocks, the speakers will explore key topics such as physiology, injury risk, surgical approaches, prevention strategies in men and women, and specific life stages such as pregnancy and menopause.

Participation is completely FREE and includes simultaneous translation, so you can follow the session in either Spanish or English.

This event is inspired by our Permanent Private Master´s Degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science and its Spanish version Máster de Formación Permanente en Medicina y Ciencias del Deporte . Both programs are co-directed by the first-team doctors of Real Madrid C.F.
