Cátedra Fundación ASISA - Universidad Europea

The ASISA Chair in Health Sciences at the European University of Madrid was created in June 2006. Its objectives are research in the field of health sciences, training for university students and ASISA employees, and the organization of informative activities in the field of health.

It carries out the activities of a Chair:

  • Research

The Chair is currently co-directed by Dr. Juan Luis González Pascual (UEM) and Dr. Tormo Domínguez (ASISA).

ASISA – Universidad Europea 2023 Chair Lecture Series

The annual session of the ASISA-UEM Chair of Health Sciences took place on November 22, 2023, at the Villaviciosa de Odón campus in Madrid.

The event was presided over by the Rector of the European University of Madrid, Dr. Elena Gazapo, the CEO of ASISA, Dr. Enrique de Porres, and the two co-directors of the chair, the Director of Planning and Development at ASISA, Dr. Maria Tormo, and the Associate Professor of Community Nursing, Dr. Juan Luis González.

One of the key moments was the lecture given by Dr. Jesús Martín, a neurosurgeon and cognitive neuroscientist from Gui de Chauliac Hospital, Montpellier (France), titled "Neurosurgery of Emotions: Beyond the River."

Finally, diplomas were awarded to the beneficiaries of various teaching and research support activities carried out by the Chair during the year 2023.
