SISCAL Certification and Institutional Accreditation

Since 2020, the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Sports has had its Quality Assurance System certified under the SISCAL madri+d model, and Institutional Accreditation for this same Center, both of which will be renewed in 2025.

The fundamental objective of Institutional Accreditation is to guarantee the overall academic quality of a university center. In addition, it allows the Center that has this recognition to renew the accreditation of official degrees, thus complementing the accreditation on a degree-by-degree basis. This institutional accreditation requires that half of the bachelor's and master's degrees of the Center requesting it be renewed and that its SGIC be certified.

This accreditation demonstrates the maturity of its Quality System and the commitment of the Center's academic leaders to the quality and continuous improvement of its degrees.
