In this workshop, design students carry out research on product design. The lab is also used for the development of projects for the Design Club and provides technical support to the FabLab, the University's Digital Fabrication Laboratory.
This laboratory seeks to combine theory and practice, adapting its activities and projects to the different subjects’ study plans to enhance the academic offering. It also aims to develop our students’ capacity for self-management and leadership within the realm of systems and resources—both material and human.
We can define this space as a workshop where students do real work using their knowledge and learnings in design, which is difficult to develop in a purely theoretical manner.
The Design Innovation Workshop is composed of a large area divided into different zones where students can work on projects related to the theory learned in the classroom.
