Luxury visit to Universidad Europea. Iga Świątek, world number 1 in tennis for the last 100 weeks, has visited the Universidad Europea High Performance Tennis School to get to know its facilities and the promising young tennis players who train at the club. She also visited the Villaviciosa de Odón campus of the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

The tennis player, who will be seeking her 20th WTA title at the Madrid Masters, greeted Dean Simone Sato; Vice-Dean Itziar Pagola; Universidad Europea professor and professional tennis player, Rosa Bielsa; and Pedro Huelves, Director of the High Performance Tennis School. The four higher education professionals belong to the area of Sports Sciences, a branch of knowledge in which the Universidad Europea has positioned itself as the 41st best in the world and the best private Spanish university in the latest edition of the prestigious Shanghai Ranking.

Iga Świątek joins the list of top-level athletes who visit the European University, thanks to the facilities equipped with the latest technologies, which not only allow training, but also to carry out tests to assess different aspects of physical condition. The technology in the classrooms, simulated environments and laboratories of the Universidad Europea is absolutely cutting-edge and, in the Sports Science branch, it is constantly growing in the search for academic excellence.
