Excellence in research by Universidad Europea students is once again recognised. Universidad Europea student Adrián Merino has had his project recognised as the second best in the IV edition of the Awards for Excellence in Final Degree Projects of the Community of Madrid, organised by the Official College of Graduates and Industrial Technical Engineers of Madrid (COGITIM).

Merino's project proposes a sustainable approach for automotive companies, in line with the objectives of the awards, which seek to promote knowledge and the implementation of clean and renewable technologies, as well as to promote the conservation of the environment and its contribution to the sustainable development of the planet.

Universidad Europea, in this way, continues to strengthen the University - Company relationship, training professionals capable of adapting perfectly to the labour market when they finish their studies. One of the fundamental pillars of these awards is to facilitate the rapprochement between the graduates of the Technical Schools and Universities, the companies and the COGITIM itself. This approach seeks to strengthen the connection between academic training and the professional world, providing an effective platform for the employment of new graduates in the field of engineering.

In a context where society increasingly demands more engineers committed to values such as sustainability, prevention and innovation, these awards represent a unique opportunity to recognise and encourage the development of projects and practices that address current and future challenges in this field.
