I’m thrilled to welcome you to the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. You are about to embark on one of the most important and wonderful stages of your lives that will leave a mark on you forever and undoubtedly be an important chapter in your life’s journey. It is thus a great honour to be part of this exciting adventure which you have just commenced.
As Dean of the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences, I have the enormous responsibility of leading this great project, which is dedicated to training the very best health professionals and scientists. During your studies, you will acquire the knowledge, skills, and values that will allow you to become qualified and committed professionals capable of leading projects, working in teams, and adapting to today’s world, where the only constant is change. I take on this immense challenge, satisfied that I can count on a faculty of renowned industry experts who really love their work, and who will pour their hearts into opening your eyes and minds.
Over the years, you will experience difficult moments, because learning requires immense effort. However, I can assure you that with your perseverance and our support, you will reach any goal that you set for yourself, no matter how ambitious it may seem. There is no adversity that will persist once a goal has been reached.
