This laboratory has equipment that allows for guided teaching activities and basic research activities, forming a collaborative and integrative space, ideal for implementing active learning methodologies. This space has a multidisciplinary use and can be used for the study of movement, rehabilitation-oriented exercise and health improvement, or for sporting performance improvement.
It provides the integration of knowledge through workstations equipped with state-of-the-art resources for automatic and dynamic kinematic analysis with dynamometric platforms, supporting the assessment of physical fitness and the definition of exercise programmes, as well as facilitating the collection of statistical data that allow for the improvement of technique and the promotion of research.
