The Dental Biomaterials Laboratory gives students the opportunity to carry out practices that distinguish between the different types of treatments that intend to keep teeth in the dental arches. In addition, it allows for differentiation of the dental equipment that is most frequently and widely distributed; therefore, allowing differentiation of the dental instruments that are most frequently used both in the clinic and in the laboratory, as well as the biomaterials used in daily clinical practice. Finally, it encourages and facilitates work alongside health team personnel.
These facilities are specifically for students studying the Bachelor's in Dentistry and are completing their internships that correspond with the Introduction to the Dental Clinic and Biomaterials courses.
The Dental Biomaterials Laboratory is equipped with a hygienic area and the necessary equipment for the proper handling and storage of all the necessary materials for the various dental procedures.
