    Universidad Europea is now the leading private university in the Community of Madrid and is consolidating its position as a benchmark institution in healthcare training.

    Universidad Europea continues to advance in its international recognition. The latest, the prestigious QS World University Ranking by Subject, which for the first time recognises the Institution in the field of Medicine, placing it in 703rd place out of the 850 best universities in this discipline.

    Thanks to the experiential learning model that characterises it, the quality of its programmes and research in the health sector, Universidad Europea has once again surpassed itself and has become the leading private university in the Community of Madrid.

    Furthermore, the Institution is second among private universities and 19th among Spanish universities, which reflects its academic excellence and demonstrates its consolidation as a benchmark institution in health training.

    For Olga Castelao, Director of Quality at Universidad Europea, ‘this achievement represents a significant advance that demonstrates the excellence of its faculty and cutting-edge research that consolidate the reputation of the Institution’.

    This recognition by QS World University Ranking by Subject, which classifies universities according to their performance in specific areas of knowledge, adds to other important results of the Institution in the area of health.

    Last December, Universidad Europea achieved a historic result in one of the world's most renowned rankings, the Shanghai Ranking. The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Sport was positioned as one of the best in the world, reaching 25th place globally.

    These achievements strengthen the European University in its international leadership, and reinforce its mission to train innovative professionals, prepared to face the challenges of the future in the field of health to improve the well-being of society.
