The Institution remains among the 1200 best universities in the world and rises to 31st place among national universities
Universidad Europea continues to advance positions in its international recognition. Times Higher Education (THE), the world's most influential ranking organisation, has released the results of its prestigious THE World University Ranking, placing Universidad Europea among the top five private universities in Spain and among the 1200 best in the world.
Another seal that ratifies the academic excellence of the Institution and reinforces the quality of a model that has had an impact on the education of more than 100,000 people around the world.
THE World University Rankings, which classifies universities and specialities according to criteria of teaching, research or reputation, also raises the Universidad Europea from 40th to 31st position nationally in its third year of participation, and occupies the second position among private universities in the Community of Madrid.
Universidad Europea is also strong in the category of international vision, ranking 8th in Spain and 3rd in the Community of Madrid, and in terms of research quality, the Institution is ranked 4th among private universities in the country.
The success of Universidad Europea in the 2025 edition of THE World University Rankings, which has ranked a record 2,092 institutions from 115 countries and is the largest edition in the 21-year history of the ranking, adds to other relevant recognitions, such as the QS Rating.
In it, Universidad Europea was rated with an overall score of 5 stars, making it one of only eight Spanish universities to achieve this. In addition, the categories of Teaching, Online Teaching, Employability, Social Impact, Good Governance, Academic Development, Programme Strength, Entrepreneurship and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion were rated as excellent, making it the University with the highest number of 5-star categories.
