More about the grant

Requirements to apply for one of the Erasmus Scholarships from the European Commission:

Registration:

  • Students do not have to register beforehand. All students who are taking part in an Erasmus+ scheme for the 2020/2021 academic year are automatically registered for this grant.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Students must be taking part in the Erasmus+ study and/or internship mobility programme in Europe between 2020 and 2021.
  • Students should submit all the required documents before, during and after the Erasmus+ programme.

In addition, the monthly amount awarded may increase under the following circumstances:

  • Where students have received a socioeconomic grant from the Ministry during the previous academic year.
  • Where students can legally prove they have a disability that limits their day-to-day activities by 33% or more.

The amount awarded shall depend on the destination country, taking into account aspects such as cost of living. In addition, students shall be offered further financial aid for transport if they are located in the outermost zones. This is calculated taking into account the distance between the destination and the origin.  In order to ensure as many participants as possible join the programme, the European Commission shall finance a maximum of three months, regardless of the length of stay.

To apply, register between:
