D. Efraim Barak Barak

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Tel Aviv University. Efraim Barak is an internationally recognized sports lawyer with over 25 years of experience and founder of Efraim Barak – Sport Law & Consultancy, a firm dedicated exclusively to international sports law. A CAS Arbitrator since 2005, he has handled around 440 arbitrations—including major, high-profile cases—covering governance, commercial and employment disputes, media rights, disciplinary matters, doping, and match-fixing. He has also served in the CAS Ad Hoc Divisions at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Between 2015 and 2023 he was a member and Vice-Chair of the UEFA Legal Committee and now serves as Vice-Chair of the UEFA Players Status and Players’ Agents Committee. A founding member, board member, and treasurer of RexSport, he plays a key role in its educational activities, including the RexSport Academy, international programs, and seminars on sports law.
