- Objectives of the master's degree
To provide training in construction techniques and knowledge of building materials with low or very low environmental impact. Understanding the environmental impact of their manufacture, transport, durability, maintenance, reuse, recyclability or recovery.
To learn how to analyse, quantify and evaluate the life cycle of a material, process or building in order to understand its real environmental impact.
Design according to energy-saving criteria using passive techniques and natural air conditioning systems.
Provide comprehensive training on the integration of renewable energies, management and legislation in buildings.

Students will put the knowledge they acquire throughout each module into practice in a real-life case study, which will provide them with Competencies that will enhance their professional abilities. - Master's degree format
The master's degree is divided into 8 modules of educational content, which will be worked on weekly based on the ECTS load and teaching load of each module.
Each week, there will be two 2-hour work sessions, during which progress will be made on the syllabus.
Learning is project-based. From the second week onwards, the ninth and final block of the Master's degree, the Final Master's Project, will be configured. This will be done while progressing through the syllabus, developing the project step by step, accompanied by specialist lecturers in the subject.
The final weeks are devoted to the final configuration of the project, its presentation, defence and subsequent assessment. - Assessment systems
The assessment of the Master's degree will be based on the work sessions and the configuration of the Master's Thesis.
