The curriculum is composed of ten modules that will provide you with practical, multidisciplinary and up-to-date training. At the end of the programme, the student will receive the Private Master's Degree in ESG: Sustainability in Sport online, granted by Universidad Europea de Madrid.

An intensive one-year programme to specialise in sports sustainability

First semester – Foundations of ESG and institutional sustainability in sport
During the first months, you will build a solid foundation in ESG applied to sport, understanding how sustainability, governance and social responsibility shape policies, values and organisational culture. You will work with real cases and practical tools to identify stakeholders and strengthen institutional commitment to the SDGs.
- Understand the ESG model and its integration into mission, values and institutional policies.
- Analyse governance, compliance and ethical principles that ensure sustainable management.
- Map stakeholders and design social strategies aligned with the sustainable development goals.

Second semester – Strategy, implementation and international experience
You will move into strategic ESG planning, applying what you have learned to real projects. You will design sustainability strategies, environmental and circular-economy plans, and produce ESG reporting with recognised international standards. The programme concludes with a Capstone Project that integrates all competencies into a measurable ESG plan.
- Implement transparency mechanisms, responsible financial practices and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Develop environmental, social and governance strategies for clubs and sports organisations.
- Lead an applied ESG project and present your Capstone Project before an expert academic panel.

Admissions requirements
For access to the Accredited International Private Master's Degree in ESG: Sustainability in Sport online it is necessary to fulfill one of the following REQUIREMENTS:
- To be in possession of a University Degree. In the case of being a graduate from a university outside of Spain, it is not necessary to have had the degree officially recognised by the Spanish Education Ministry.
- To have accredited professional experience related to the programme of interest. This guarantees the achievement of the abilities specified in the Profile for prospective students section. Some of the programmes offered at Universidad Europea do not allow access through professional experience. See the full list here.
- Higher Vocational Training Graduates who can accredit professional experience after completion of the internship.
In all cases, the University may limit access to certain degrees if a specific university degree has not been previously completed.
