Initial training block
- Learn the physiological and endocrine fundamentals of human reproduction and understand the main factors that affect fertility.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of gametogenesis, fertilisation, embryonic development and embryo retrieval techniques, mastering the initial processes of reproduction.
- Analyse assisted reproduction techniques and embryo culture, understanding their clinical and laboratory applications.
- Develop skills in gamete and embryo multiplication, as well as in improving embryo quality for use in reproductive treatments.
- Work in the andrology laboratory, acquiring practical skills in the handling and analysis of male samples.

- Apply clinical embryology knowledge, handling embryo culture and monitoring techniques in a professional setting.
- Master cryobiology and gamete and embryo preservation, including vitrification and safe storage.
- Understand and apply genetic analysis in assisted reproduction, as well as sex determination techniques, with an ethical and clinical approach.
- Develop skills in pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, performing laboratory analyses for embryo selection.
- Take part in basic and clinical research in human reproduction and stem cells, evaluating recent studies and innovative techniques.
- Analyse ethical and legal aspects of assisted reproduction techniques, ensuring regulatory compliance and good professional practices.

Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and co-founder of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI), a global leader in assisted reproduction. Trained in Valencia and at the University of California, Irvine (USA), he has been a maternologist since 1984 and a sexologist since 1986. He has received numerous awards from American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), and other institutions, and is the author of more than 650 publications, 22 books, and hundreds of lectures. He holds prominent positions in international scientific rankings. - Juan Giles
Gynecologist at IVI RMA Valencia and MD from the Complutense University of Madrid. Specialist in gynecological endoscopy with certification from European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Researcher at the IIS La Fe Health Research Institute and the IVI Foundation, and lecturer in master’s programs at the University of Valencia and the King Juan Carlos University. Author of 87 publications and more than 150 conference communications. Awarded by American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and International Congress on Reproductive Immunology (ICIRA). Global Coordinator of IVF laboratories at IVI RMA and Director of the Clinical Embryology Laboratory at IVI Valencia. Trained at Harvard University, she is an expert in embryonic mosaicism, mitochondrial biology, vitrification, and transcriptomic PGT. Author of more than 100 publications and supervisor of numerous doctoral theses. Gynecologist specialized in human reproduction at the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI) and full professor at the University of Valencia.
