The Formula 1 driver takes advantage of the Institution's state-of-the-art facilities to carry out tests to assess different aspects of physical fitness
Carlos Sainz joins the list of elite sportsmen and women who have opted too train at the state-of-the-art Global Health and Perfonmance Center of Universidad Europea. One of the best Formula 1 drivers has used the laboratories of body composition, training and exercise physiology of the Institution before his period of physical preparation.
Sainz underwent tests to assess different aspects of his physical condition, such as measuring strength in upper and lower body exercises, isometric strength of different muscle groups, as well as cardiorespiratory fitness and the state of his body composition. In this way, he begins his preparation to face the Formula 1 season in 2024, which will start with the Bahrain Grand Prix race on 2 March, where he will fight to achieve his first victory of the season with his new Scuderia Ferrari car, which will be presented on 13 February.
