20 jun 2025

La Universidad Europea ha irrumpido con fuerza en el QS World University Rankings 2026. La Institución ha logrado posicionarse entre las 1.000 mejores universidades del mundo, en el ranking en el que se presentaron cerca de 8.500.

This important achievement is a further step in the Institution's commitment to academic excellence and reaffirms the positioning of Universidad Europea on the international scene. In its incorporation into the QS World University Rankings, it has managed to position itself as the Spanish university with the best position among those debuting this year, positioning itself, in addition, among the top five private universities in Spain.

Among the indicators that endorse this achievement are those that measure internationalisation and teaching quality, two fundamental pillars of Universidad Europea's academic model. The Institution is among the top 100 universities in the world in terms of international diversity, and has reached 110th place in the ratio of international students, consolidating its global profile and its ability to attract talent of more than a hundred nationalities. In terms of the Faculty Student Ratio indicator, which evaluates the attention to students and the availability of teaching staff, the European University was ranked 328th in the world, confirming its commitment to a close, personalised and quality education.

Juan José Rodríguez Martín, Vice-Rector for Innovation, Quality and Accreditation at Universidad Europea, said that ‘this international recognition reflects the solidity of an academic model connected to the professional reality, in constant evolution and with a firm commitment to excellence’. For the vice-rector, this milestone ‘confirms the impact of a university that trains its students to respond, from day one, to the challenges of today's world’.

Olga Castelao, Director of Quality Assurance at Universidad Europea, stressed that "this recognition is the result of a firm commitment to always go one step further, promoting not only teaching excellence but also quality research. We have a firm commitment to our students to comply with the highest national and international quality standards". Castelao also highlighted the joint work of the entire university community, emphasising that ‘behind every award there is a real commitment to constant improvement and a positive impact on society and the environment’.

The presence of Universidad Europea in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and the award of five stars in the QS Stars consolidate a path of excellence, internationalisation and academic quality. This international recognition reinforces a path based on continuous improvement and is a new impetus to continue building with passion and commitment a university connected to the challenges of the present and prepared to lead those of the future.
