Inma Serrano and María Sanz receive the award for the best efficiency in a graphic piece at Caixa Forum Madrid
The students of Universidad Europea, Inma Serrano and María Sanz, have won Gold at the Smile Awards in the category of best effectiveness in a graphic piece. The Caixa Forum Madrid was the place where the project carried out by the students and directed by the teachers Begoña Moreno and Sergio Baltasar was recognised. In this way, the Challenged Based Learning teaching methodology used by Universidad Europea has once again been recognised.
The project is part of the Pitching Minds laboratory, where students are confronted with working conditions similar to those they will face in their professional future. In this way, the Universidad Europea manages to reduce the gap between the academic and professional worlds.
Professors Moreno and Baltasar lead the Pitching Minds project. Since its creation in 2010, they have been awarded more than 50 prizes and more than 10 finalists. These include a Gold and two finalists in the Ibero-American festival El Sol, two finalists in The New York Festivals and a finalist in The One Show in New York and a finalist in the National Creativity Awards.
