Dra. Vanesa Abuín Porras

Vanesa Abuín holds a Ph.D. in Neurological Pathology from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2015). She has a Master's in Neurological Physiotherapy, a University Expert qualification in Psychodiagnosis and Early Care Treatment, and a University Expert qualification in Applied Statistics for Health Sciences.

She was accredited by ANECA in 2021 for the positions of Assistant Doctor, Private University Professor, and Tenured Doctor, with a recognized six-year research period by CNEAI.

Since 2020, she has been a member of the Physiotherapy in Motion Research Group at Universidad Europea de Madrid. She is the author of more than 40 scientific publications, over 30 of which are indexed in JCR. She has participated as a speaker in various national and international conferences and has authored several book chapters.

Currently, she teaches research-related courses in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs and supervises multiple doctoral theses within the Ph.D. program.
