Dra. Mónica de la Cueva Reguera

Mónica de la Cueva is a professor, accredited as a contract doctor by the ANECA and researcher in the Department of Physiotherapy.

She has a degree in Physiotherapy from the UAH and a PhD in Advanced Physiotherapy from the European University (EU). She is also an Expert in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Lymphotherapist and expert in Oncological Physiotherapy. She shares several lines of research: Pelvic Floor, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Ultrasound assessment of the Musculoskeletal System, as well as Educational Innovation. She has a patent as the author of a new technique, Manual Intracavitary Lymphatic Drainage (DLMI).

She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the EU and collaborates with different universities. She has published several scientific articles in JCR journals. Member of two research groups at the European University: Physiotherapy in Motion and Woman & Health. Collaboration as co-author of two books. In clinical practice she is Director.
