Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Marketing Communications from the University of Strathclyde. Colin Banks founded Colin Banks Media Limited in 2013, providing media consultancy and broadcast operations for clients including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, and UEFA. He previously worked at Eurosport Television and held various marketing roles before joining Olympic Broadcasting Services (2006–2013), the IOC’s broadcasting division, where he managed Rights Holding Broadcaster activities across all Olympic Games during both the planning phase and on-site. Since founding Colin Banks Media Limited, he has overseen media operations and athlete interviews at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, managed over 150 UEFA matches, and served as the IOC’s Media Advisor/Consultant. In this role, he has supported every Local Organising Committee in planning and managing media operations and facilities for all Olympic Games from 2016 to 2018.
