The Chair in vaccines between Universidad Europea de Valencia and Pfizer was created in early 2025. It is a strategic and lasting union, whereby both parties will benefit from the results of research, development and innovation.
Nowadays, and even more so after the pandemic that we have been through, the concept of global health is of particular importance for the population. It is important, therefore, to disseminate advances in vaccines, as well as the care of our environment, especially to the health community, including students, teachers, scientists and health professionals.
The research and training proposal of the university includes the dissemination from the first year of studies in health sciences, both nursing, physiotherapy, psychology and dentistry, and can be extended to other degrees and academic disciplines.
The objectives of the Chair are articulated in four strategic lines, the immunization schedule for the whole life, the one health concept as a public health tool and the evolutionary process of vaccines and antibiotic resistance.
To this end, activities related to research, innovation and knowledge transfer will be developed.
