Associate Professor
Tamara Iturriaga is a professor and researcher in the Department of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. She holds a degree in Physical Education from Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello, Santiago-Chile. She has a Master's in Physical Activity and Health and a Ph.D. in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from Universidad Europea de Madrid.
She teaches undergraduate courses in (1) Physical Activity and Health; (2) Cellular and Tissue Biology; (3) Physical Activity in Natural Environments. At the postgraduate level, she teaches (1) Conducting and Interpreting Exercise Tests.
She has published seven scientific articles in indexed journals. Additionally, she has co-authored book chapters and has participated in more than ten national and international congresses in her field of expertise, as well as in 15 research projects funded by both private and public sources.
