Juan Montaño Ocaña

Juan Montaño is a professor in the Departamento de Fisioterapia. He graduated from Universidad de Sevilla (US) and holds a master's in Innovation and Research in Healthcare from Universidad de Cádiz (UCA) and a master's in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Pain Treatment from Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM).
He has been teaching for seven years in the master's program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Pain Treatment at UEM and UEC, the Expert Course in Manual Therapy and Myofascial Pain Syndrome, and the Expert Course in Respiratory Physiotherapy at UEM. He also teaches in other recent programs at UEM, such as the Expert Course in Orofacial Pain, the Expert Course in Therapeutic Exercise, and the master's in Invasive Physiotherapy.
He combines teaching with clinical practice. His area of expertise is the management of chronic pain through various interventions, especially therapeutic education in pain neuroscience.
