Associate Professor
José Ángel del Blanco Muñiz is a professor and researcher in the Department of Physiotherapy.
A Physiotherapy graduate since 1998, he has dedicated 25 years to clinical practice. In 2018, he earned his Ph.D. Cum Laude in Health Sciences from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
Since 2021, he has led the Therapeutic Exercise and Functional Rehabilitation Research Group as Principal Investigator (PI) and is also a researcher in the Aqualab research group.
His research lines focus on musculoskeletal pain, therapeutic exercise, and aquatic rehabilitation. To date, he has published more than 10 high-impact articles.
