Irene Morell Rodríguez is a professor in the Department of Rehabilitation at the Facultad de Ciencias y Actividad Física y del Deporte. She holds a degree in Biology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has completed research stays in France at Université Bordeaux I.

She has over 15 years of experience in organizations dedicated to science management, environmental conservation, and international cooperation. She has worked in several Mediterranean countries, speaks seven languages, and is an expert in international project management.
