The students from Global Sports Management Bachelor Degree in Universidad Europea completed last week their Corporate Experiences Trip to Barcelona where they had the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the know-how of some of the best sport entities in Europe. All this, with an initiative promoted by Jose Bonal, professor of Sports Management at the European University.
- On the first day, they visited Basketball Euroleague, exploring and learning about Sport Governance.
- On the second day, students visited the Olmpic Museum Juan Antonio Samaranch for a closer look into the Olympic Legacy. Also the INEFC Barcelona University, for an introduction on how scientific research can help the development of sport federations and sport clubs. Later in the afternoon, students witness the backstage of the preparations of the Godó Tennis Tournament at Reial Club Tennis of Barcelona, one of the most prestigious ones on the ATP circuit.
- The third day, the group travelled to the Montmeló Circuit Catalunya, where the staff shared their Operations Management of the Formula 1 and Moto GP events.
- On the last day, the students explored the Spotify Camp Nou, one of the most iconic sport venues in the industry, and enjoy a great sport experience at the Euroleague game FC Barcelona vs Belgrade Red Star.
All around, definitely a meaningful learning experience.
