First semester
You will acquire the strategic foundations of project management, mastery of resource planning and control, as well as the Competencies to lead teams and manage stakeholders. You will learn:
- Fundamentals of Project Management, project lifecycle and governance.
- Planning, timelines, costs and variance control using professional tools.
- Finance and risk: applied economic analysis, identifying and responding to uncertainties.
- Leadership and communication: multidisciplinary teams, negotiation and conflict management.
- Practical introduction to agile and hybrid methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).

Second semester
You will delve into quality, performance and continuous improvement using Lean approaches, KPIs and OKRs, as well as portfolio management and PMO to align initiatives with strategy. You will learn:
- Quality and performance: assurance, control, scorecards and data-driven decision-making.
- Lean, KPIs and OKRs to optimise processes and project outcomes.
- PMO and portfolio: models, maturity, prioritisation and strategic value metrics.
- Internships in companies with academic and professional tutors to ensure real-world application of learning.
- Integrative final project to demonstrate technical, strategic and leadership competencies.

Internships
Internships in companies are a key element of your education. Gaining experience after what you have learned in your degree is the best way to enter the job market. There are two types of internships: curricular (included in your study plan) and extracurricular (those you can undertake voluntarily).
To complete curricular internships in companies, you will need to have passed 50% of your credits and enroll in the internship course before starting your placement. These internships are monitored both by the company and the internship supervisor, and require the submission of interim and final reports for evaluation.
If you want to enhance your professional experience before completing your university studies, you can undertake extracurricular internships. You may do them at any stage of your degree, but keep in mind that internships are a complement to your academic training; therefore, the more knowledge you have acquired throughout your studies, the more you will benefit from the internship experience.
