New success for the Universidad Europea, which consolidates its leading position in Higher Education in Spain. As part of the 23rd Madrid Awards, organised by Madridiario, the Regional Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, Emilio Viciana, presented Otilia de la Fuente, President and CEO of the European University, with the Madrid Award for the Best Educational Initiative. This recognition highlights the 30-year trajectory of the largest academic network in Spain that leads educational and scientific innovation.

The emblematic The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, hosted the gala, which highlighted the work carried out by different personalities, organisations and institutions in various fields in the Community of Madrid. Universidad Europea, ‘thanks to its commitment to an education that transcends the classroom and is committed to culture, internationalisation, sustainability and critical thinking’, has been distinguished for its innovative educational model, focused on the comprehensive training of students and its positive impact on society.
During her speech, Otilia de la Fuente stated that ‘this award, which encourages us to continue moving forward with strength, not only celebrates a trajectory, but also a shared vision: that of transforming education to have a positive impact on people's lives’. She also highlighted the evolution of Universidad Europea over these three decades, in which ‘more than 130,000 students have passed through our classrooms and have successfully entered the labour market’, and emphasised the institution's ability to adapt to ‘an ever-changing society, always supported by the most advanced technologies and cutting-edge facilities’.
