Research Structure and Organisation
Research and Doctorate School
This School promotes research and doctoral studies at the University through the implementation of the Strategic Research and Doctorate Plan. This comprehensive plan facilitates the management of researchers, research projects, and all associated infrastructures. The School also coordinates all doctorate programmes linked to the University’s research plan, in accordance with the Royal Decree 99/2011 of 28 January, which regulates Official Doctoral Studies.
Research Development and Promotion
This area is responsible for the development, monitoring, and promotion of research activity and the transfer of results to the market. It also aids in the negotiation of agreements and contracts.
Research Results Transfer Office (abbreviated OTRI in Spanish)
OTRI contributes to the promotion of research through the administrative and economic management of national and international projects and research support resources. This includes administrative support to researchers; results transfer activities such as research contracts and patents; and the management of internal calls as well as the dissemination of national and international calls. OTRI also organises science dissemination activities.
