Casa Salazar boasts a study room of 42 m2. In addition to the Library’s study rooms, seminar classrooms are also available for students to freely access, increasing the space available for reading and study.

The University has an agreement with the Library and the Casa de la Juventud of La Villa de La Orotava Town Hall. All the students at the Universidad Europea de Canarias can access and use these facilities.

Electronic Resources

Access to the digital collections of Universidad Europea de Madrid: Reference databases, collections of digital journals and academic electronic books

Additionally, the Universidad Europea de Madrid’s Library offers all members of the Universidad Europea de Canarias (students, lecturers and non-lecturing staff) access to its digital collections: Full-time reference databases, digital journal collections and academic e-books. These resources (more than 48,800) are available online for use and consultation 24 hours a day x 365 days a year, via the following link:

METABUSCADOR “DESCUBRE”

A search engine platform allows students to locate and access all the materials available in the Library's collections. It facilitates direct access to main digital resources provided by the library, with complete texts and information.

Articles from academic magazines; local, regional and global press; economic information (balance sheets, reports, regulations); legislation; jurisprudence; doctoral theses; research papers; preprints; postprints; websites, and specialised portals.

Contains references to original documents, mainly articles from academic journals. When the Library has access to the full text, the reference shows a link that allows direct access to it.

You will have access to search and information management tools, search engines specialised in academic information, and the Refworks citation manager to organise and classify bibliographic references.

Specific resources for researchers to identify authors, papers and academic sources of higher quality based on the number of citations they receive (impact factor, H index and SJR indicator).
