Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea (RealMadridUE) and Louisiana State University (LSU) are proud to announce a dynamic new partnership that will offer LSU students an immersive, international study abroad experience in Madrid, Spain. This collaboration opens the door for students to gain practical knowledge in business, communication, and leadership—rooted in the real-world strategies of one of the most iconic sports organizations in the world: Real Madrid.
Summer
The program offers a compact track during the Summer to immerse one-self in a world class sports environment in Europe:
- Summer Semester (Maymester): A compact 7-week session featuring two academic courses, totaling 6 credit hours.
Course topics include “Marketing for Sport” and “Large Event and Sporting Venue Management”.
Real-World Learning Through Business Plan Projects
One of the program’s cornerstones is the Business Plan Project, where students work directly with top-tier European companies affiliated with RealMadridUE. These projects foster entrepreneurial thinking and allow students to apply RealMadridUE’s core ELITE values: Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
The aim is to prepare globally minded leaders who uphold the ethical standards and legacy of Real Madrid.
The Real Madrid Experience: More Than Just Academics
All students enrolled participate in The Real Madrid Experience—an exclusive event that includes:
- Guest lectures from global sports industry leaders
- Visits to Real Madrid’s world-class facilities and key business venues in Madrid
- Workshops in topics like Digital Transformation, Venue Management, and Strategic Marketing
This immersive experience equips students with a holistic view of international sports management and innovation.
