With the aim of facilitating the integration of more than 2,500 new international students at Universidad Europea and introducing them to the cultural richness of our country, the Vice-Rectorate for Students and University Life held the event ‘Did you know Spain?’, a day designed to accompany them in their first steps in Madrid.

During the session, students experienced a complete immersion in university life and the city of Madrid. They had the opportunity to visit some of the capital's most emblematic spots on a tour, while also getting to know first-hand the city's wide range of cultural offerings, with plans and activities for all tastes. Thanks to the Buddy Programme, they were able to request a companion to help them adapt to university life and their new life in Madrid. They also received information about organising trips around Spain, an opportunity that will allow them to broaden their experience and discover the diversity of the country. The day also served to answer practical questions about the administrative procedures necessary for their stay and to introduce them to the many possibilities offered by the student clubs, thus consolidating their first contact with the university community.
With initiatives such as this, the University reinforces its commitment to internationalisation and the well-being of its students, creating a welcoming environment full of opportunities for those who are beginning their academic experience with us.
