European Commission Erasmus Grant

Erasmus grants encourage mobility in Europe by allowing students to travel and study at certain universities which are taking part in the Erasmus+ programme for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Aimed at students enrolled at Universidad Europea de Madrid who are travelling to a European country which is part of the Erasmus+ study and/or internship mobility programme in the 2020/2021 academic year.

What are the Erasmus Grants offered by the European Commission in Madrid?

Requirements to apply for an Erasmus grant:

Registration:

  • Students do not have to register beforehand. All students who are taking part in an Erasmus+ scheme for the 2020/2021 academic year are automatically registered for this grant.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Students must be taking part in the Erasmus+ study and/or internship mobility programme in Europe between 2020 and 2021.
  • Students should submit all the required documents before, during and after the Erasmus+ programme.

In addition, the monthly amount awarded may increase under the following circumstances:

  • Where students have received a socioeconomic grant from the Ministry in the previous academic year.
  • Where students can legally prove they have a disability which limits their day-to-day activities by 33% or more.

The amount students receive depends on the country they are travelling to and the number of scholarships the European Commission has assigned to the Universidad Europea de Valencia, as well as the number of students who are undergoing an Erasmus trip.

Application Deadlines for the Erasmus grant:

You may register your place on the mobility programme between the following dates:

  • From 4th to 22nd November, 2019.
  • From 13th to 17th January, 2020.
How to Apply
