What it consists of

This is a financial aid program aimed at university students or students of higher artistic education in the Community of Madrid who excel both academically and athletically in official competitions.

The goal is to support students in balancing their studies with high-level athletic performance.

A total of 125 scholarships are offered:

  • 40 for new students (2 reserved for higher artistic education).
  • 85 for currently enrolled students (2 reserved for higher artistic education).

Amount: €2,100 per recipient.
The funds may be freely used to cover any study-related expenses — such as tuition, materials, or living costs.

Deadline

Application period: from October 7 to October 27, both dates included.

Main requirements
  • Be enrolled in a university or higher artistic education center in the Community of Madrid.
  • Provide proof of one of the following athletic achievements: medal in Spanish Championships, participation or medal in European or World Championships, being ranked among the top three in the official national ranking.
  • Hold a valid sports federation license and have no active sports sanctions.
  • Meet the minimum required grade point average, depending on the type of studies pursued.
How to apply
  1. Fill out the official application form available on the electronic portal of the Community of Madrid: https://sede.comunidad.madrid
  2. Submit your application using one of the following methods:
  • In person: at registration offices of the Community of Madrid, local councils, post offices, or Spanish consulates.
  • By post: in an open envelope so that the first page can be officially stamped.
  • Online: through the General Electronic Register using a digital certificate or Cl@ve credentials.
