The digital simulation room is specially equipped for the use of simulators based on the latest generation technology pioneered in Spain. There, students can work independently, supported by a tutor with whom they can review the record of their work, simultaneously or later, since the simulator allows for recording the procedures carried out in order to review errors and improve in future sessions.
The new simulation units (Simodont) are complex simulators and are equipped with advanced technology, interacting with the student in such a way that they behave as a haptic simulator (which gives students the possibility of working and recreating situations with highly realistic tactile sensations in the various examples and clinical cases). In this way, these units help the student increase their skills and better adapt when working in real situations.
These facilities are specific for students of the Bachelor’s in Dentistry who are here to carry out their preclinical practices.
