This is a room in which any scenarios representing any healthcare activity can be recreated. The simulation may be carried out with standardised patients, using previously trained actors, as well as with high-performance simulators or virtual patients. These simulators with physiological responses allow prior programming and are operated from a control room close to the scenario, enabling the patient's reactions to be programmed to achieve the established learning outcomes. In complex simulation, programme-specific skills and knowledge are developed, as well as teamwork and communication skills. In addition, this room has screens with multiparametric monitoring to display the complementary tests that support the practice defined by the lecturer. To facilitate subsequent review of the scenarios, it is equipped with a recording system integrated with the simulators and the patient's computerised clinical record.
