Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology Laboratory - Universidad Europea Andalucía
Located on Floor 0, with a surface area of 109.50 m², this space consists of two work areas, including:
- Portable instrumentation and data processing area, equipped with a computer and other audiovisual support equipment
- Practical work and data capture area for research into exercise aimed both at improving health and at enhancing sports performance, with equipment for automatic and dynamic kinematic analysis using force platforms.
The equipment in this laboratory may include:
- Ergometers (treadmill and cycle ergometers).
- Analysers for blood pH and electrolytes, lactate and oxygen, electromyograph and electrocardiograph.
- Force platform.
- Specific software for the platform: Dinascan, Biofoot, DartFish, SignalFrame.
- Kinematic analysis system for 3D measurements.
- Integrated audio-video system with computers and interactive televisions.
