#UECarpool is the initiative that seeks to offer carpooling as a mobility alternative to come to the Madrid campus. The first positive results can already be seen in the university community.
The implementation of this initiative has achieved savings of more than 1,690 kg of CO2 and 5,770 kg of NOx during the few couple of months. All this has been thanks to the 434 people who have registered in the application and have shared a car on their daily trips to the University. This has also been reflected in the accesses to the campuses and in greater number of parking spaces available.
To continue contributing to the environment, we encourage the entire university community to register in the Hoop Carpool application (Apple Store o Google Play), enter the code UE22-SE and share a car to and from the University.
