Universidad Europea is gathering to celebrate its recognition as one of the top 10 best companies to work for in Spain

16 apr 2026

Universidad Europea has brought together its staff across all its campuses to celebrate a double milestone: the renewal of its Great Place to Work® certification for 2026 and the award of the ‘Best Workplaces’ recognition, which accredits the institution as one of the 10 best companies to work for in Spain.

GREAT PLACE TO WORK

The ‘Best Workplaces’ award ranks Universidad Europea among the organisations most highly rated by their staff and endorses a corporate culture built on trust, leadership, respect, fairness and a commitment to talent development. The celebration took place simultaneously across the campuses of Universidad Europea de Madrid, Universidad Europea de Valencia, Universidad Europea de Canarias and Universidad Europea de Andalucía.

With over three decades of experience and an impact reaching more than 127,000 graduates worldwide,Universidad Europea has become the first educational institution in Spain to receive this recognition from Great Place to Work®, an international leader in research consultancy and human resources management. The distinction adds a new achievement to a track record marked by academic and institutional recognition, and highlights an organisational model in which pride in belonging, camaraderie and the opportunity to be oneself within the institution are established as pillars of the professional experience.

“I am deeply moved to be able to share a professional experience that combines an enriching working environment with a shared purpose that inspires us to transform higher education, always with respect for the individual and by fostering, in our day-to-day work, behaviours that reflect our values,” said Guillermo Tena, Director of Human Resources at Europa Education. “There are many good things about the University, but without a doubt the best are the people who form part of it, who collaborate, contribute and grow together. Congratulations to everyone on the experience we are sharing,” he added.

Beyond the recognition, the celebration has once again highlighted the strength of a project shared by hard-working people who collaborate, grow and move forward together. This momentum reaffirms Universidad Europea as an institution that nurtures talent, builds community and understands that its greatest strength lies in the people who make it possible every day.
