- Universidad Europea remains among the world’s top universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and ranks among Spain’s top 25.
Universidad Europea has once again been ranked among the world’s top universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027. It remains in the 901–950 band globally and ranks among Spain’s top 25. For this edition, QS assessed more than 8,800 institutions across 106 higher education systems and ranked 1,504 universities worldwide.
The result confirms Universidad Europea’s place in one of the leading international higher education rankings. It also reinforces a track record shaped by internationalisation, strong links with the professional world and a commitment to high-quality teaching. In Spain, 48 universities feature in this year’s ranking, placing Universidad Europea among the Spanish institutions recognised by QS.
One of this year’s most notable results is in the International Student Ratio indicator. Universidad Europea ranks 94th worldwide, improving on its position last year. It is also the second-highest-ranked Spanish university in this category, reflecting its ability to attract international students to its campuses.
Universidad Europea has also improved in the Faculty Student Ratio indicator, which measures the number of faculty members relative to students and which QS links to the learning experience and academic support. This year, it ranks 291st worldwide and fifth among Spanish universities.
The ranking also assesses other areas of performance, including employability, sustainability, employer reputation, international faculty and international research collaboration. Within Spain, Universidad Europea also performs strongly in international faculty and employer reputation, two indicators that reflect its international academic model and its links with the professional world.
The QS World University Rankings 2027 assesses universities using indicators covering academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty member, employment outcomes, faculty student ratio, international faculty and students, international research networks and sustainability.
Universidad Europea’s inclusion in this year’s ranking reflects the continued development of an academic model built on quality, internationalisation and close links with the professional world. Its position on the global higher education stage recognises an approach to university education centred on diversity, employability and individual support for students.
