How this financial aid works

How this financial aid works

If you are a high school student with an average grade of at least 8 (in the 1st academic year and the first two trimesters of the 2nd year), reserve your place on your preferred Bachelor's course and request one of the available grants, which provides a discount on tuition fees of between 30% and 70%.

This final percentage shall depend on your University Access Qualification (CAU).

Percentages of aid

Universidad Europea de Madrid

  • CAU less than 8.49: 30% aid on course tuition fees.
  • CAU between 8.49 and 8.99: 50% aid on course tuition fees.
  • CAU equal to or greater than 9.00: 70% aid on course tuition fees, during the first academic year only. For subsequent academic years the discount shall be 50%*.

* The 70% Grants shall only be granted to Candidates who opt for degrees in the Architecture and Engineering area of the Universidad Europea de Madrid. These Grants have a limited number of places and shall be awarded in order of entry and average High School Diploma (Bachillerato) grade of the candidates.

Universidad Europea Valencia:

  • CAU less than 8.49: 30% aid on course tuition fees.
  • CAU greater than 8.49: 50% aid** on course tuition fees.

** The 50% Grants from the Universidad Europea de Valencia shall only be granted to Candidates who opt for degrees in Engineering and Social Sciences at said University. These Grants have a limited number of places and shall be awarded in order of entry and average High School Diploma (Bachillerato) grade of the candidates.

Universidad Europea de Canarias:

  • All grants awarded shall cover 30% of the course’s total tuition fees.

The Aid Programme run by Universidad Europea for students with a High Academic Performance has a limited number of places for each course and University. These places shall be granted according to the order of application submission and the candidates' average high school grade.

Deadlines

Complete the Universidad Europea admission process and submit the following documentation before September 14th, 2020. Send all relevant documents to the following email addresses, as per the University to which you apply:

Documentation:

  • Application for Financial Aid for Students with High Academic Achievement
  • Academic certificate with High School Diploma (Bachillerato) grades from the academic year 2019-2020.
  • Grade certificate for the University entrance exams (EvAU/EBAU), carried out in the 2020 examination period.

When candidates include their Personal Academic Certificate from the 1st academic year of their High School Diploma study, and the first 2 trimesters of the 2nd academic year, if their average grade is 8 or higher, they shall be eligible for Study Aid, which provides a 30% deduction of tuition fees.

Once grades from the University admissions exams (EvAU/EBAU) have been provided, the University shall assign each candidate the total percentage of Aid according to each individual case, as per the Scholarships and Aid Commission (Comisión de Becas y Ayudas).

The candidates awarded the grant shall have a period of 5 working days upon receiving confirmation to formally open a student file, reserve a place at University, and enrol in all the modules for their chosen course. If students do not complete the specified procedures within the allocated time, their application for financial aid shall automatically be retracted. To this end, the notification sent to the candidate’s provided email address shall be valid.
