CDIO endorses the project-based learning methodology applied by the institution
CDIO stands for Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate. The CDIO Initiative was created to revolutionize education in engineering and science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics careers. AACSB member institution
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business has been inspecting the quality of teaching in business schools for over a hundred years. Their emphasis on “the best schools” and "the best businesses", reflects their interest in bridging the gap between what’s being taught and what companies need to fill their vacancies. The AACSB was created in 1916 at the behest of important US business schools and universities such as Yale and Harvard.
EFMD member institution
The European Foundation for Management Development was created in 1997 as a non-profit organization with the purpose of ensuring the quality of European business schools, just as the AACSB had been doing since the early part of the 20th century in the United States. EFMD takes special care to ensure that its members apply a professionalizing teaching methodology, with a strong focus on instilling entrepreneurial skills and a sense of responsibility in students. It assesses teaching quality, as well as the policies and procedures in place to summarize all stakeholders’ expectations and responsibilities, namely faculty, students and staff, within a continuous improvement model.

In 2026, several of the university's master's programmes are among the foremost in the world according to international rankings. The Master's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is ranked among the 106 most relevant degrees in the world in logistics. Universidad Europea is the only private university in the Community of Madrid present in this ranking. Meanwhile the Master's Degree in Marketing Management is ranked in the 101–150 range of the 164 most relevant degrees in the world in marketing. In this category too, we are the only private university ranked.

CertAcles is an official language certificate issued by Spanish universities in accordance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference. It is recognized by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), by multiple universities and by the European CERCLES network.
Officially recognized by the International Baccalaureate. Accreditation that enables the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training to offer additional training opportunities in pursuit of IBEC certification in teacher training.
