Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Sport at Universidad Europea de Andalucía

The Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Sport trains future healthcare professionals at a time when research and the use of new technologies are crucial to achieving success. At our Málaga Campus, students receive solid theoretical training, based on the best and most up-to-date scientific evidence, combined with a significant practical component. They have access to cutting-edge technology, including latest-generation simulators that allow them to reproduce real clinical situations. We promote integrative learning, where not only the theoretical and practical concepts of each degree are important, but also learning based on the application of empathy, ethical values and interpersonal communication, with the aim of offering society humane, responsible and excellent healthcare. To achieve this, our students train and practise at the Advanced Simulation Centre, and have access to Basic Sciences Laboratories, a Biomedicine Laboratory and a Dental Clinic with 51 dental treatment rooms for patient care. The most advanced technology, including haptic simulators and practice with actors and real patients, creates an experiential learning environment where students can learn safely, gain confidence in their professional skills and develop the qualities required to enter the professional market.
